2. Website access and hosting

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When the website is accessed, IONOS processes technically necessary connection and log data, including IP address, date and time, requested file, referrer, browser, operating system and device type. Processing serves the secure, stable and error-free provision of the website and the prevention of misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; these purposes are also our legitimate interests. IONOS acts as a processor under an agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR.

Log data are retained only for as long as required for operation and security. Longer retention takes place only where necessary to investigate a security incident or pursue legal claims.

3. IONOS WebAnalytics

We use IONOS WebAnalytics to statistically evaluate and technically optimise this website. It records the referrer, requested page or file, browser type and version, operating system, device type, access time and IP address. IONOS anonymises the IP address immediately after transmission and subsequently processes the analytics data without identifying an individual. WebAnalytics does not use cookies. According to IONOS, analytics data are not disclosed to third parties.

The legal basis for processing until anonymisation is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests are audience measurement and technical and content optimisation. Following immediate anonymisation, the data are no longer personal data.

4. Contact and legal enquiries

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the data you provide, including contact details, the content and time of the enquiry and any documents submitted. Processing is carried out to review and respond to your enquiry and, where appropriate, to initiate or perform a legal-services contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Where no contractual connection exists, processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interests are handling business communications properly and assessing potential instructions.

If your enquiry contains special categories of personal data, such as health data, these are additionally processed under Article 9(2)(f) GDPR where necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

If no instructions are accepted, enquiry data are deleted when handling is complete unless legal retention duties or legitimate interests, particularly conflict checks or the defence of claims, require further retention. Such data are generally retained no longer than the applicable statutory limitation periods. Following completion of an instruction, client-file data are generally retained for six years from the end of the relevant calendar year pursuant to section 50 of the German Federal Lawyers’ Act (BRAO); longer statutory retention duties remain unaffected.

5. Recipients and international transfers

Recipients may include IONOS SE as hosting provider, email and IT service providers and, where required for an enquiry or instruction, courts, public authorities, opposing parties and their representatives, insurers, experts and other participants in proceedings. Service providers are engaged as processors where required.

No transfer of personal data outside the EU or European Economic Area is intended for the services directly used by this website. If a service involving an international transfer is used in future, this policy will be updated before that service is introduced.

6. Provision of data

You are not legally or contractually required to provide personal data through the contact channels shown on this website. Without the information necessary for review, an enquiry may not be answered and instructions may not be accepted or performed.

7. Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have rights of access under Article 15 GDPR, rectification under Article 16, erasure under Article 17, restriction under Article 18 and data portability under Article 20. You may withdraw consent at any time with future effect.

8. Right to object

You have the right, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to object at any time to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

9. Right to lodge a complaint

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is in particular:
The Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information
Wilhelmstraße 7, 65185 Wiesbaden, Germany
Email: poststelle@datenschutz.hessen.de
datenschutz.hessen.de

10. Automated decision-making

No automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR, takes place.

11. Security and amendments

This website is transmitted in encrypted form via HTTPS. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. This policy will be amended if the website, the services used or legal requirements change.
